Even Scientists Worship Jesus

I read a story on the wild wide web by some athiest who wants America to turn into a pagan country like Russia.  This is yet anothr example of athiests knoking on our doors trying to beat God up in our hearts.  i really don’t know why killing God is so important to these people??!?

Anyway you should still read it just ignore the athiest lies.  It says the guy who discovered DNA realised the error of his ways adn turned himself over to Jesus on day.  If a guy that “smart” who used to be an athiest can see the light it means there is still hop in the world for the rest of the unwashed swin to become pure in God’s eyes, and we can all live in peace after that.

Yeah he realized all the time he wasted, before it’s too late.

DNA? Huh? What have you got against DNA? We’re all made from the stuff.

You call people “libtards” – maybe a lot of people here think you’re a “reptard” (Republican Retard).

Something that would be more relevant than DNA would be that some claim Charles Darwin renounced evolution on his deathbed and became a Christian. At least that’s relevant. I’m unsure whether it’s true though, since the guy did spend most of his life working on a theory that he obviously believed deep down.

Also, is the mispelling of “athiest” in your tags deliberate? The correct spelling is “atheist” – I’d have thought even you would know that.

Russia is not “Pagan”. Paganism is the belief in the gods of the Romans prior to christianity which are really the same myths as those of the Greeks but with different names. Very few people practice paganism today but those that do are just as deluded as those who worship any God including your imaginary sky daddy.

Also, I am confused as to how someone with such atrocious spelling and grammar can put quotes around the word smart when talking about either Watson or Crick. Both of those men are intellectual giants.

As for death bed conversions or later recanting, they are irrelevant. The truth of or evidence for an idea is unaffected by the proposer’s later recantation. The truth is that Darwin was a Christian and had even considered the seminary. I am not sure he ever gave up his belief in God. I do know that he stopped believing that God had created and designed nature as it was.

    “pagan country like Russia”
actually your are wrong with this statement the vast majority of the russian population is athiest from the days of russification, obvious the effects have lasted becasue most of them still are atheist.

@Dan – Darwin was a Christian his entire life. When he set out on the journey that convinced him of evolution, he was looking for new evidence to support Creation as spelled out in Genesis. He may have renounced his own theory on his death bed (I’m not sure?), but he was a Christian long before then.

Thanks for the info – I don’t think I knew that. In my opinion, he wouldn’t have renounced his belief in evolution since he spent most of his life studying and working on the theory.

Charles Darwin and Christopher Dawkins are two of the more recent examples of God testing his followers. It happened more often in the Old Testament, but we should celebrate when it happens today.

Before any of my brethren jump on me for saying an unbearable imp of a man like Dawkins should be celebrated, in a sense I agree with you. He was sent here by Satan himself, as a trap to ensnare the weak of faith. But God only allowed Satan to do so because He has an undieing interest in His people here on earth.

    Am I missing something?

    1) Why would atheists want America, or anywhere, to be Pagan?!
    2) Why is atheist spelt wrong on your banner?
    3) Since when was citing someones blog a credible way to find out anything?
    4) Is this website a piss-take? Because I do not believe anyone would actually believe anything on this site. If it is I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but some of the things on this blog are hilarious!
    5) Why does it matter if an intelligent person is religious or not? It is not proof of anything. Einstein, Darwin and Stephen Hawking are obviously intelligent, but non were Christian. And there are smart Christians too? (sorry no-examples, my minds gone blank) They can’t all be right, can they?
    6) A little of the topic, but while we are discussing prominent geniuses personal lives, I must tell all the homophobes that the Nazi’s enigma code was cracked by Alan Turing, who was gay. So along with the Soviets, those dirty Godless commies, a gay man did more to defeat Hitler than anyone else. Just to throw that out there! 😉

And to alexanderthegreatest, although Darwin was religious, but as he discovered more about evolution his faith eventually disappeared. He did not admit it publicly, for fear of isolation and upsetting his very religious wife, but he did concede his lack of faith to close friends in letters. This is not a contentious point, his loss of belief is widely accepted and I have actually seen the letters in a museum.

May I make a small correction?

    The article you quote:

is not by or about ‘the guy who discovered DNA’. It is by a scientist who invented the gene gun, used to transfer DNA from one cell to another. That’s a whole different story. The scientists who discovered DNA, Watson and Crick, are (or were if they have died) die-hard atheists and evolutionists as far as I know.

I am wondering if you can site the reference for Crick becoming a Christian before he died. I can not find a credible source, and I would like to locate it. Thanks.
